Current Position and Past Experience
John Murphy is the Manager of Learner Pathways at Capella University. Before taking on this role, Murphy supervised Capella’s New Learner Experience Team for six years. During his time working at Capella University, Murphy has also served as an Academic Advisor, a group he also led during his tenure.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Murphy earned his B.S. in Biology with a minor in Health Education and his M.S.E in Counseling Education from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. Murphy earned his Master of Business Administration from Capella University.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Outside of work I enjoy reading and spending time with others in outdoor activities.
