Current Position and Past Experience
Jazz Jackson is the Chief Student Success, Equity and Inclusion Officer at Thomas Edison State University. Jackson oversees advising, faculty, career services, equity and inclusion, military and veteran support, student accessibility services, tutoring services, and academic integrity.

Jackson previously served as Associate Dean of First Year Experience and Retention Programs at Southern New Hampshire University.

Prior to joining SNHU, Dr. Jackson was Dean at Beckfield College, responsible for developing new strategies for recruiting and retaining a diverse, underrepresented student body and for overseeing initiatives to maintain and enhance program quality.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Jazz Jackson attained his Doctorate of Education in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University. He holds a Master of Business Administration from William Carey University and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a Certified Professional Coach.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Dr. Jackson is passionate about supporting his local community through volunteerism. He serves as the New England State Secretary for Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and Diversity and Inclusive Excellence Committee Co-Chair for UPCEA. In the past, he has served as Chair of the UPCEA New England Regional Committee and Secretary on the executive board of the Young Professionals Network of the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts. He has served as a mentor at Northeastern University and a Big Brother at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Manchester, New Hampshire.
