Current Position and Past Experience
Debra Humphreys is currently Vice President of Strategic Engagement at Lumina Foundation and has been in this position since 2016. Prior, she was at Association of American Colleges and Universities for 23 years. Some of her roles there included Senior Vice President for Academic Planning and Public Engagement, Vice President for Policy and Public Engagement, as well as Director of Diversity, Equity, and Global Learning.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Humphreys holds a Master of Arts and Ph.D. in English Language and Literature from Rutgers University. She also has a bachelor’s degree in Art History from Williams College. She has taught Women’s Studies, English Composition, and Film Studies at several public institutions

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Humphreys lives in Philadelphia with her husband and enjoys art, theater, and a passion for books.
