Current Position and Past Experience
Deborah Hurst is the former Dean of the Faculty of Business at Athabasca University. For more than two decades, Deborah has worked at Athabasca in one way or another, starting as an associate professor and fulfilling many roles over the years such as the MBA Program Director, Leadership and Management program director, and Associate Dean new business development.

Previously, she was an Assistant Professor at Acadia University

Education, Honors and Achievements
Hurst earned a Ph D. in Work and Organizational Sociology from the University of Alberta in 1996.
