Current Position and Past Experience
Courtney Brown is the Vice President of Strategic Impact and Planning at the Lumina Foundation. She develops, implements and oversees the Foundation’s efforts in the areas of strategic planning, research, data, evaluation, metrics, knowledge management and international work.
Previously, Brown was a Senior Research Associate at Indiana University.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Brown earned her Ph. D. from the University of Virginia in 1997, the same institution where she earned her Masters of Arts in Linguistics in 1995.
She also has a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Spanish from James Madison University.
