Current Position and Past Experience
Clay Wilson is the Program Director of Cybersecurity Studies at the American Public University System.

Prior to this, Wilson was the Program Director of Cyber Security Policy Graduate Studies at the University of Maryland University College. Wilson has also served as a Technology Specialist, Good Harbor LLC with Wilson Research, LLC; as a Robotic Systems Analyst with NAVSEA, and as a Research Analyst-Specialist in Technology and National Security with Congressional Research Service.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Wilson received his Masters in Technology Management from the University of Maryland University College in 1993. In 2001, he received his PhD from George Mason University in Policy for Digital Rights Management and Intellectual Property.

He is the winner of the 2012 Dupont Summit Award, granted by the Carnegie Institution.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Outside of work, Wilson’s interests include robotics, virtual worlds, Harley motorcycles, trap and skeet shooting, and ballroom/salsa dancing.
