Current Position and Past Experience
Christina Royal is currently President of Holyoke Community College. She became HCC's fourth president in January 2017, and is their first female, queer person of color to hold the position. ince then, the college has embarked on bold plans, new initiatives, and innovative policies to continue our legacy of affordable, quality education. Prior, she was Provost and Chief Academic Officer at Inver Hills Community College. From 2001 to 2016, she was at Marist College, serving in roles such as Director of Technology-Assisted Learning and adjunct faculty. She was also Associate Vice President of eLearning and Innovation at Cuyahoga Community College for seven years.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Royal holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Instructional Design for Online Learning from Capella University. She also has a Master of Arts n Educational Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Marist College.
