Current Position and Past Experience
In 2005 Christina Farrell founded OperaIgnite, where she currently serves as the founding director. In that time, she has also served as a Teaching Artist with the Gateway to the Arts, an Educational Consultant with the Opera Theatre of Pittsburgh, an Audience Engagement Consultant with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and an Education Director for Prime Stage Theatre.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Farrell earned her BFA in Vocal Performance from Carnegie Mellon University in 1997. In 2012 she expects to complete her MA in Educational Theatre from New York University.
