Current Position and Past Experience
Christian Franco is currently the Manager of Live Interactive Learning Technology for the Innovation and Technology team at the Division of Continuing Education at Harvard University. Having served at the institution since 2013, Christian previously held other positions, such as the Online Teaching and Learning Technology Solutions Lead, Senior Production Specialist, as well as Technical Director. Prior to his time at Harvard, Christian served in higher education at Massachusetts Institute of Technology for over 13 years holding positions that include; Distance Education Technology Specialist at the Office of Digital Learning, Streaming Media Coorindator at Academic Media Production Services, and also as the MultiMedia Coordinator & Videographer for the Center for Reflective Community Practice (CRCP), within the Department of Urban Studies and Planning.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Franco is a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) in the AV industry and holds a degree in Communications from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. In 2018, Christian was recognized with a Harvard Heroes Award for his work in developing the HELIX Classroom blended learning model.
