Current Position and Past Experience
Amelia Parnell has been President and CEO at NASPA since July 2024; previously, she was Vice President for Research and Policy. Prior, she was Director of National Survey Research before stepping into the role of Director of Research Initiatives at Association for Institutional Research.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Parnell holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Administration from Florida State University. She also earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
When she's not working, Amelia enjoys relaxing with family, friends and her mini poodle, Marcus. She also loves ice cream, live music and sports.
