Shawn VanDerziel is currently President and Chief Executive Officer at the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). Previously, he held positions in both higher education and recruiting. His most recent prior position was at The Field Museum where he served as Chief Human Resources Officer and Chief of Staff.

VanDerziel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Multi-Disciplinary Social Sciences from Michigan State University and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification.
