Current Position and Past Experience
Keith Paul has been the Chief Marketing Officer at Northern Essex Community College (NECC) since July 2022. He also owns Brandsocket, a community-focused marketing consultancy. Previously, he was Director of Communications and Marketing at Springfield Technical Community College (STCC). Prior, he served in leadership and faculty roles at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Paul also held leadership roles in the corporate sector, including Fortune 100 firms and startups.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Paul holds a Master of Science in Management from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He also earned an Executive Certificate in Consumer Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and completed an Advanced Workshop in Design Theory at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).
Paul’s career has been marked by a number of achievements, including honors from UPCEA, CASE, and NCMPR. He was also named a Thought Leader by Babson College’s Retail Supply Chain Institute. A lifelong learner, Paul holds the PMP credential from the Project Management Institute, is a member of the American Marketing Association, and is an Appreciative Inquiry Certified Facilitator.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
When not working, Paul is an avid reader, hiker and cook. He enjoys travel and is a self-described Star Trek nerd.
