Current Position and Past Experience
Kara Monroe currently serves as Provost and Senior Vice President at Ivy Tech Community College. Previously, she served as Associate Vice President for Online Academic Programs.

Prior to this, Monroe served as both the Assistant Vice Provost at the Center for Instructional Technology and as the Executive Director of Finance, Facilities and Information at Ivy Tech Community College.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Monroe earned a BS from Ball State University in 1996. In 2003, she completed her MBA at Jones International University. She earned a PhD in Higher Education Leadership at Capella University in 2006.
