Current Position and Past Experience
Jamie Gallo has served at Harvard University since 2018 and is currently Associate Director of Certificates and Non-Degree Programs in the Harvard Extension School; previously, she was a Teaching Assistant and Assistant Director of Certificates. Prior, she served nearly three years at Suffolk University as an Adjunct Professor and Assistant Director of Career Outreach for the College of Arts and Sciences, and over four years at Florida Gulf Coast University as a Career Advisor and Adjunct Professor
Education, Honors and Achievements
Gallo holds a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Florida Gulf Coast University, a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University at Albany, and a Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Food Systems from Harvard Extension School.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
In her free time, Gallo enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys (ages 5 and 8) hiking and exploring new places. Gallo has recently discovered cross-stitching and likes to end her day by watching TV while cross-stitching. When she’s not trying to keep up with her active kids, or planning for their next adventure, you can find her enjoying a suspenseful book surrounded by nature.
