Current Position and Past Experience
James Fisher currently serves as Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Pennsylvania Western University; previously, he was Interim Dean of the College of Social Sciences & Human Services and Senior Associate Provost for Academic Administration. Prior, he spent 22 years at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in several roles, including Professor of Politics & Legal Studies, Interim Associate Provost and Interim Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Fisher holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Doctor of Law from William & Mary Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from PennWest Edinboro.
