Current Position and Past Experience
Eloy Chavez is currently the Dean of the College of Extended Learning at Northeastern State University and has served in this role for over 12 years. His experience spans small private colleges to large research institutions where he has been a Program Coordinator, Assistant Director, Dean of Students, Dean of Continuing Education.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Dr. Chavez graduated with his doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Oklahoma State University, where he was a KAMM Presidential Fellow. His masters in Student Personnel from the University of South Carolina and his bachelors in Recreation Administration from the University of New Mexico. He also gained a Certificate in Student Activities Management through National Association for Campus Activities and an Oklahoma teaching certification in Secondary Education.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Outside of work, Chavez volunteers his time as a board member of the Broken Arrow Arts Council and the Mosaic Board for Diversity and Inclusion at the Tulsa Regional Chamber. He is also a member of the board for Green Country Workforce. He is also a NCAA and NAIA sports official in the sports of basketball and softball.
