Current Position and Past Experience
Doug Harrison is currently Associate Dean of the Division of Applied Undergraduate Studies in the School of Professional Studies at New York University. Before joining NYU SPS, Harrison was vice president and founding dean at the School of Cybersecurity and Information Technology at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC), where he was deeply engaged in transforming the learning experience for the University. In addition, he was part of the UMGC President’s Cabinet, advising on key projects and initiatives across the University.

Harrison holds a doctor of philosophy and master of arts from Washington University. He also holds a bachelor's degree from University of Missouri.
