Dan Belyea is currently Chief Workforce Development Officer at Maine Community College System (MCCS) and has been in the position since April 2020. Previously, he held several positions at MCCS from Director of Operational Support to Executive Director of Workforce Training. Prior, he was Director of Administrative, Student Services and Auxiliary Enterprises at Eastern Maine Community College. He has worked for the Maine Community College System for over 36 years.

Belyea holds an associate's degree in Business Management from Eastern Maine Community College.

Dan serves on the Board of Directors of Coastal Enterprises Inc., Jobs for Maine Graduates, Maine Technology Institute, State of Maine Workforce Board, and Chair of the Board of Visitors for Long Creek Youth Development Center with the Maine Department of Corrections, appointed by Governor Janet T. Mills.
