Current Position and Past Experience
Christopher Ray is currently Provost and Senior Vice President at University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth; previously, he was Chief Academic Officer and a Professor. Prior, he served seven years at Texas Woman’s University as Professor and Dean of Health Sciences. From 2007-2016, Ray filled several roles at University of Texas at Arlington, from Associate Dean of Research and Graduate Studies to Director for The Center for Healthy Living and Longevity, and Associate Dean for Research and Director for the Center for Research and Scholarship.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Ray earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from University of Georgia. He also holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
