NCCET resumes publishing flagship periodical ‘The Catalyst’
The Catalyst is returning as the official publication of the National Council of Continuing Education and Training (NCCET).
The journal, which first was distributed as The Community Service Catalyst in 1971, will return in a digital format and will be deployed three times a year.
The Catalyst will focus on issues of national importance in the US regarding community colleges, professional development, workforce development and leadership.
“We are pleased that we can provide this valuable service to professionals in our field,” said NCCET Board Member Ex-Officio Trenton Hightower, CEO of GradCast. “Industry-specific research and data will be the focus of this periodical.”
NCCET Members are encouraged to submit article proposals. Topics of interest include:
- Training plans
- Data driven decision making.
- Social media or digital marketing
- Building curriculum
- Managing a virtual office
- Virtual sales tools
- Community programming or kids programming online
- Your one-year marketing plan
- Formal or informal client assessments
- Online education partnerships
- Grants
- And other relevant areas
Articles should be 250-500 words. Accepted authors will receive a byline as well as their photo on the published article – and be notified by email.
