Current Position and Past Experience
Matthew Arrojas is currently the journalist-in-residence at the Learn & Work Ecosystem Library, where he also contributes reporting to the online-only publication Work Shift.
Previously, Matthew reported on higher education policy and regulatory issues for BestColleges, with a focus on student financial aid topics. Prior to that, he was the hospitality and retail beat reporter for the South Florida Business Journal.

Matthew earned his B.S. in journalism from the University of Florida with an outside concentration in history.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Matthew is an avid sports fan, so you can often find him cheering on his hometown Miami teams. Aside from watching sports, he is also a triathlete and burgeoning golfer.
When at home, he enjoys reading nonfiction, binging nature documentaries, and creating collages.
