Current Position and Past Experience
Karen Whitney is currently Executive Vice President of Strategy and Sustainability at National University. Previously she was Chief Transformation Officer. Prior to NU, Karen served as the Senior Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis for the University of Phoenix, and Vice President for Apollo Group since 2007. Ms. Whitney also served in leadership roles across the real estate and hospitality industries as Vice President of Institutional and Global Services Finance at C.B. Richard Ellis/Trammel Crow and Financial Accounting Manager at Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide. She started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an auditor.

Whitney holds a Master of Business Administration in Business from University of Virginia. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Business from Trinity University.
