Current Position and Past Experience
Jozsef Vigh is Professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and Associate Dean of Program Services at the Graduate School of Colorado State University. As a professor, he conducts neuroscience research focusing on how opioids alter the daily rhythm of sleep and wake, teaches primarily at the graduate level, and mentors undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral researchers in both independent and collaborative projects. As an Associate Dean he has participated in graduate student mentoring initiatives, and oversees graduate admission and curricular processes.

Education, Honors and Achievements 
Jozsef Vigh earned an BSc in Biology, specializing in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, from Jozsef Attila University in Szeged, Hungary. He studied human genetics and neuropharmacology at King’s College London on a TEMPUS scholarship and completed his PhD in Neuroscience at Janus Pannonius University in Pécs.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Jozsef Vigh loves outdoor activities, gardening, hiking and fishing, particularly fly fishing in the Rockies.
