Current Position and Past Experience
Jennifer Platania currently serves as the Associate Provost of Academic Affairs at Elon University and Associate Professor of Economics. She serves on the president’s Senior Staff and the Provost Advisory Council as well as having oversight of the Registrar’s Office. In addition to study abroad courses, her teaching interests include Principles of Economics, Statistics for Business and Economics, Intermediate Macroeconomic Theory and Mathematical Economics.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Platania earned her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from Florida State University and received her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics from West Virginia University.
