Current Position and Past Experience
Inna Popova-Roche is Director of Partnerships and Industry Engagement at McGill University’s School of Continuing Studies. She works closely with industry partners to design and deliver professional development programs and custom learning solutions that address evolving workforce needs. Her work includes developing partnerships with organizations such as ICAO, ACI, and other international bodies, with a focus on accessible, practice-oriented learning in areas including risk management, data analytics, cloud security, project management, and aviation management.
Prior to joining McGill, Inna held senior roles at the International Air Transport Association (IATA), where she managed global distance learning programs in aviation and travel & tourism, supporting thousands of learners annually.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Inna holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership degree from McGill University, Bachelor’s degree in Philology from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and a certificate in Human Resources from Concordia University.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Inna is a passionate advocate for access to continuing education and professional development opportunities for underemployed and underserved professionals particularly newcomers and women. She is the inaugural academic program coordinator for the SEED initiative which aims to remove barriers to professional education. Inna is an Advisory Board member of the Conference on Management and Executive Development (CMED), member of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). She also regularly represents the School at various industry and professional association conferences and events.
