Current Position and Past Experience
Diane White has been Dean of the Graduate School of Nursing and Health Professions at Antioch University since May 2024. Most Recently, she spent 12 years at Georgia Gwinnett College as Founding Dean of the School of Health Sciences and Professor. Before beginning her academic career, White was a full-time nurse at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta in the surgical intensive care unit.
Education, Honors and Achievements
White holds a Doctor of Philosophy, a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia State University. Her most recent publications and presentations focus on emotional intelligence in nursing, creating a culture of care in nursing education and fostering DEI in the nursing curriculum.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
White is an avid sports enthusiast and loves spending time with her children, ages 23 and 19, playing piano and attending festivals.
