Current Position and Past Experience
Jarod Bleibdrey currently serves as Vice President of Planning and Institutional Effectiveness at Coastal Bend College. He has been with the college for over 11 years and previously served as Dean of Career and Technical Education, as well as Associate Professor of Criminal Justice, Forensics, Law Enforcement, and History. Prior to his career in higher education, he spent 10 years as a Sergeant of Correctional Officers with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Bleibdrey holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Liberty University. He also earned a Graduate Certificate in Ancient Studies/Civilization from American Public University, a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Joseph's University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Criminal Justice from Ashford University.
