Current Position and Past Experience
Jayrod Garrett is a Non-Traditional Student Peer Advisor at Weber State University, a position he has held since 2010. He concurrently serves as the Managing Editor of the Epiphany Non-Traditional Student Literary Journal. Garrett is a veteran who currently serves as a Sergeant in the Utah Army National Guard. Garrett served two tours in Iraq and one local activation. In his position as Communications Assistant Manager, he trains soldiers on the function and maintenance of radio and communications equipment.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Garrett expects to earn his Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Weber State University in 2014. In 2013 he completed his Associate of Science degree.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
From 2003-2005, Garrett served as a Missionary with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
