Current Position and Past Experience
Mark Peterson currently serves as CIO and Director of Technology Services at Inver Hills Community College. Before this, Peterson was the Acting Program Director for the Identity Access and Management team at Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. This followed five years as a Media Specialist at Leeward Community College.

Peterson is been an active member of the Technology Advisory Committee for Forest Lake Area Public Schools and Lakes International Language Academy.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Peterson earned his B.S. in Industrial Education from Minnesota State University and his M.Ed. in Educational Technology from University of Hawaii.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
In 2005, Peterson founded the LILA Ski Club. In 2010, Peterson founded the LILA Archery Club where he continues to serve. For seven years, Peterson has coached youth soccer with the Lakes United Futbol Club.
