Destiny Solutions, the leading provider of administrative software for continuing and professional education, announced today that the George Brown College Centre for Continuous Learning has upgraded from its Destiny Curriculum Manager and Publisher module to the Destiny OneCE™ system. This substantial expansion in functionality will help George Brown manage and sustain its strong enrollment growth.
Destiny I-Services™, Destiny's comprehensive integration platform, will seamlessly integrate Destiny OneCE with George Brown's existing SunGard Banner financial and curriculum administration systems. This integration will allow George Brown to capitalize on infrastructure and investment already in place. At the same time, the upgrade will improve efficiencies by consolidating and streamlining administrative processes. As a result, Destiny OneCE will allow staff to spend less time on administrative activities, enhance student services to current and prospective students, and allow the Centre to operate as a single, cohesive information environment.
"Destiny I-Services will allow us to maintain our SunGard Banner system of record and extend it across our school with immediate financial and work effort impact," says Alfred Carr, Manager, Systems Development and Support with George Brown Continuing Education.
As George Brown continues to experience strong growth, Destiny OneCE keeps pace, providing immediate staff and service-level benefits today while ensuring George Brown's investment continues to be leveraged in the future, as the school evolves.
"Our successful four-year relationship with Destiny Solutions has provided us significant efficiencies with our curriculum publishing," says Colin Simpson, Dean of the Centre for Continuous Learning at George Brown. "With this next step, we are looking to the next horizon of business efficiencies and advantages in our highly competitive market."
