Current Position and Past Experience
Yvonne Villanueva-Russell is Founding Dean of the College of Innovation and Design at Texas A&M University-Commerce. Her prior roles at this institution were; Dean of the University College, Associate Dean of the College of Humanities, Department Head and Associate Professor of Sociology, and many more. She was also a facilitator for the Life Design Studio for University Educators at Stanford University.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Yvonne holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She also has a Bachelor and Master of Arts in Sociology from Western Illnois University.
