Current Position and Past Experience
Tyra Henderson is an Associate Professor of English at West Kentucky Community and Technical College (WKCTC), a post she has held since 2009. In fall of 2018, she became Director of Accelerate U! at MSU, a partnership program between WKCTC and Murray State University (MSU). Her areas of interest include assessment, mixed methods research, accreditation and soft skills/personal qualities in education.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Henderson holds an Ed.D. in P20 and Community Leadership, an M.A. in English/Language Arts Education, and a B.A. in English from Murray State University.
