Current Position and Past Experience
Since 2009, Susan Bender Phelps has been the CEO of Odyssey Mentoring and Leadership, a consulting and training company. She is also the Executive Director of the Deacon Charitable Foundation. Susan speaks at conferences on mentoring, leadership, communication and networking.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Bender Phelps earned her Associates Degree in Advertising and Communication at the Fashion Institute of Technology in 1975. In 2005 she earned her Bachelors in Communication from Marylhurst University and in 2008 she earned her Masters in Management and Organizational Leadership from Warner Pacific College.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Susan volunteers as a member of the Washington County Commission on Children and Families, is a member of the Beaverton Area Chamber of Commerce and Toastmasters for Speaking Professionals. She is a certified SCUBA diver and loves chocolate!
