Current Position and Past Experience
Shelly Gehrke currently serves as Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Success at Emporia State University and has been with the institution since 2010. Some of her previous roles include Assistant Vice President for Academic Success and Director of the Advising Center. Prior, she was Director of Advising and Tutoring at the University of Minnesota.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Gehrke holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Administration and Master of Education from the University of Texas. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Stephen Austin State University.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
When she is not focused on students, Gehrke loves spending time with her 4-legged children and family. She is a self-proclaimed oenophile who loves dining with friends, traveling near and far, and diving with the eagle rays and tortoises. When given the chance, she is exploring people, places and cultures.
