Current Position and Past Experience
Shabana Figueroa is the Director of Learning Design for Georgia Tech Professional Education, an academic division of the Georgia Institute of Technology. She oversees and mentors the learning design team as well as provides counsel on curriculum design and development strategies and innovative educational technologies that will lead to world class learning experiences for all Georgia Tech Professional Education (GTPE) learners.

Education, Honors and Achievements
She obtained her bachelor’s in interdisciplinary studies in 2003 (concentration: computer science, technology and business), and her master’s degree in instructional technology in 2007. In 2014, Figueroa earned her doctorate in instructional technology from Georgia State University.
