Sandi Pershing | Assistant Vice President of Engagement, University of Utah
Current Position and Past Experience
Dr. Sandi Pershing has been with the University of Utah since 2000, moving into her current role of Assistant Vice President for Engagement in 2011. She also served as Dean of Continuing Education from 2004 - 2016.
Pershing has also taken on the role of President of UPCEA, serving the 2018-2019 term. She is the co-author of Organization Theory and Governance for the 21st Century (2014), and co-editor of Classic Readings in Organizational Behavior (2008) and Classics in Public Administration (2003).
Education, Honors and Achievements
Pershing holds a B.A. and Master of Public Administration from the University of Wyoming. She earned her Ph.D. in Public Administration from Arizona State University.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
In addition to my work, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling. I am also a certified Zumba instructor, and love the chance to express myself that way!
