Rosaria Campbell | Curriculum Coordinator for Extended Learning in the Faculty of Agriculture, Dalhousie University

Current Position and Past Experience
Rosaria Campbell is the Curriculum Coordinator for Extended Learning at Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Agriculture. In this role, Campbell designs, develops and evaluates short courses, on-site programs, e-learning and skills training programs for agriculture and related industries. Her responsibilities include: needs and gap analysis; impact alignment; learner-centered design and development; instructional strategies; learning materials development; assessment and evaluation and quality assurance; transferring new developments in learner-centered models to on-site and e-learning programs; development and delivery of training in Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) and other training models for Dalhousie and partner institutions.

Rosaria has over twenty-five years in training design, development, and delivery for agriculture. Prior to joining the Extended Learning Unit, she worked as an instructor, program coordinator, technical writer, and project coordinator for various departments in the Faculty of Agriculture.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Rosaria Campbell is a Certified Training & Development Professional (CTPD) and Professional Agrologist (P.Ag.). She holds a B.Sc. in Agriculture from McGill University, a B.A. in English from St. Mary’s University, and an M.Sc. in Ruminant Nutrition from the University of Manitoba. Her certifications include High Impact Evaluation™: Measuring, Managing, Driving Impact (2017); Adobe Captivate 8 Essentials (2015); Prior Learning Assessment & Recognition/Recognition of Prior Learning Foundations (2014); Scientist Knowledge Translation (2012); and DACUM© Facilitation (2010).

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Rosaria is also a reader, writer (fiction and poetry), and amateur musician. She lives with her partner on a small hobby farm in rural Nova Scotia.
