Current Position and Past Experience
Rebekah Paré is currently Associate Dean for the Letters & Science Career Initative, as well as Executive Director of SuccessWorks at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Additionally she serves as chair of the Big Ten Academic Alliance Liberal Arts Career Initiatives peer group. Prior, she was Assistant Dean and Director of Academic Progress Services and Undergraduate Program Coordinator for International Studies.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Paré holds a Master of Arts in both Musicology and German Literature from the University of Wisconin-Madison. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in German and Piano Performance from the University of New Hampshire. She has completed trainings in project management, change management, and facilititative leadership, and has earned the Academic Advising Impact Award from the Wisconsin Academic Advsing Association.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
When she is not playing with her two kids, Paré enjoys wine tasting with her husband, and playing piano with the 19-piece all female swing band, Ladies Must Swing. She is also a member of the Rotary Club of Madison, WI through which she gets involved in numerous community projects from student mentorship to addressing racial injustice.
