Current Position and Past Experience
Phil has been working with large employers, complex higher educational institutions, and academic medical centers on significant business process improvement, organizational design, and organizational effectiveness initiatives for more than 20 years. He has worked with clients in all phases of system integrations, mergers and acquisitions, strategy, and design through full implementation. He is certified in Huron’s Change Leadership methodology and serves as a coach to our clients and internal teams when they are managing through transformation change. Prior to joining Huron, Phil was a partner in a large “American Lawyer 200” law firm where he led the compensation and benefits practice. He has also served as an adjunct professor at IIT, Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Phil Strzalka holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a J.D. in Law from the Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Phil regularly volunteers for charity work, most recently packing meals with Feed My Starving Children. He and his wife Sally, with their three children – Alyssa, Kayla and Josh, enjoy caring for and riding their three horses in their small town 30 miles outside of Chicago.
