Patricia Campbell | Dean of Graduate Studies, American Public University System

Current Position and Past Experience
Since 2011, Patricia Campbell has been the Dean of Graduate Studies at the American Public University System. She started at APUS in 2007, joining as a Program Director.

Prior to this, Dr. Campbell spent 12 years as a Professor at the University of West Georgia.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Dr. Campbell earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from Illinois State University in 1985. In 1993 she earned her Ph.D. in International Relations from the Korbel School of International Relations at the University of Denver. She is the recipient of both a Fulbright-Hayes scholarship and an NEH fellowship. She has also served in leadership positions in various professional organizations and has published extensively.
