Current Position and Past Experience
Mary Nisbet is currently the Dean of Academic Affairs at Everest College Phoenix.
Prior to this, Nisbet was the Associate National Dean for the College of Health Sciences at DeVry University.
Nisbet has also served as the Associate Dean for Faculty and Programs at DeVry University’s College of Health Sciences and as the Manager of Faculty Training and Development at the Chamberlain College of Nursing.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Nisbet earned a BA at Western Michigan University in 1979. In 2001, she completed her MA at the University of Phoenix Grand Rapids Campus.
She is the recipient of the 2010 Pride of DeVry award and the 2009 Ron Taylor Award.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Nisbet has served on numerous non-profit Boards, including Big Brothers Big Sisters and Service over Self, and is an avid theater-goer on the Charleston peninsula.
Nisbet is currently partnering with Thomas Waite, Stuart Vanorny and The Pacific Institute on a series of articles on Intelligent Heart and the integration of soft skills in higher education.
