Kristen Capezza | Vice President of Enrollment Management, Adelphi University

Current Position and Past Experience
Kristen Capezza was appointed Vice President of Enrollment Management at Adelphi University in October 2018. In this role, she is responsible for the leadership and development of a 60+ person team spanning University Admissions and Student Financial Services, and is committed to assisting students and families through the university’s admissions and enrollment process. Additionally, Kristen oversees the University’s data analytics team, and high school and pre-college programs.

Prior to taking on her current role, Capezza served in increasingly senior positions at Adelphi University, including Executive Director of University Admissions and Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Kristen Capezza holds a BSBA in Marketing and Finance from Bryant University, an MBA in Marketing from Adelphi University, and a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Adelphi University.

Frequently called upon for her expertise in higher education, Kristen has presented at various conferences including NACAC and NYSACAC. In recent years, Kristen has been recognized with a number of professional awards including the Nassau Counselors’ Association College Counselor of the Year (2018), the Adelphi University Mentoring Excellence Award (2018), the LIBN Top 40 Under 40 Professionals of Long Island (2017), the KMPG Athena Young Professional Leadership Award (2017), and the NACAC Rising Star Award (2012).

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Kirsten Capezza’s passions include cooking, golfing, traveling, and reading. She enjoys spending time with her husband, her Labradoodle, Rocco, and her newborn baby.
