Kevin Currie | Chief Executive Officer, Continuing & Professional Education Consulting Group

Current Position and Past Experience
Kevin Currie is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Continuing & Professional Education Consulting Group, which he founded in 2017. The Continuing & Professional Education Consulting Group is made up of individuals who not only understand the uniqueness of adult and professional education but have successfully worked in the field in senior management positions at numerous institutions and in multiple roles. In addition, each member of CECG has worked with client institutions on projects that have included new program identification, existing program evaluation, and unit reorganization or creation.

This follows two years as Special Advisor to the Dean of the College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University. From 2009-2015, Currie served as the Executive Director of Northeastern University Online—the university’s distance learning division. Prior to this, he spent six years as the Senior Associate Dean of the College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University. This followed his eight years as the Director of the Corporate Training Group at Boston University.

Currie has held a number of management positions in the private sector as well, including the General Manager of Nelson Communications and the Manager of the Olsten Corporation’s Technical Division.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Currie earned his BA in English from Framingham State University in 1975. He earned a Certificate in Training and Development from Boston University in 1998.
