Current Position and Past Experience
Dr. Ken Udas is the Independent Consultant and Open Source (OSI) Program Development Chair of the Rabb Division of Graduate Professional Studies at Brandeis University. Prior to this, he served as Deputy Vice Chancellor of Academic Services & CIO at the University of Southern Queensland, Australia.

Having taught his first online course in 1996, Ken Udas has served in a variety of leadership, management, and teaching roles in universities with dedication to high quality, high access, and low barrier educational programming including Comenius University, Slovakia, UMUC, the Open Polytechnic of NZ, the State University of NY and PennState World Campus and UMassOnline. Dr. Udas has written and presented extensively on the topics of distance education, technology, and openness.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Udas earned his BS in Biology from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth in 1986. In 1990 he earned his MBA from Salem State University. In 1992 Udas earned his MS in Business Analysis from Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School and, in 1995, Udas earned his PhD in Higher Education Administration from the same institution.
