Current Position and Past Experience
During her four years in the classroom as a high school chemistry & physics teacher, Kelsey found herself using technology daily to captivate her reluctant students. Looking to widen the scope of her impact on education and help other educators see technology as a superpower, she joined Packback in 2017 as an Experience Manager, helping Professors implement the Packback platform into their courses. Leveraging the lessons she learned in the classroom, Kelsey became a team manager in 2019, Director of Customer Success in 2021, and VP of Customer Success in 2022. Most recently, Kelsey became the Chief Operating Officer in November 2022.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Kelsey holds a master of arts in Secondary Education and Teaching from Marian University Indianapolis, along with a bachelor of science in Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington. She was also a Teaching Fellow for two years at TNTP Teaching Fellows while teaching Chemistry at Indianapolis Public Schools.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
When not working, you can probably find Kelsey on the Lakefront trail in Chicago walking her rescue pup, Ellie, or happily refusing to follow a written recipe in her kitchen.
