Current Position and Past Experience
Jocelyn Widmer is currently Assistant Provost for Academic Innovation at Texas A&M University and has been in this position since 2019. Prior, she was at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine serving as a consultant and Policy Fellow. From 2015 to 2019, she was at University of Florida where she was the Program Director of Online Master of Urban and Regional Planning before taking on the additional role of Joint Clinical Assistant Professor.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Widmer holds a masterās in Landscape Architecture from Texas A&M University. She also has a doctor of philosophy in Urban and Regional Planning, along with a masterās in public health from the University of Florida.
