Current Position and Past Experience
Jennifer Mosley is currently Program Manager of E-Learning at Sault College of Applied Arts and Technology. Prior, she was at Lambton College for 15 years. Some of her roles included Competency-Based Project Coordinator (micro-credential design and development), E-Learning Design and Training Coordinator and Associate Professor, and Quality Matters and Accessibility Lead in online learning. Jennifer continues to teach part-time in the E-Learning Design and Training Program at Lambton College.
Jennifer also provides consultative services on quality design and development of online learning to OntarioLearn, a corporation that supports all 24 Ontarioās publicly-funded colleges offering online programs and courses. She also Chairs a Community of Practice group for OntarioLearn with Quality Matters Coordinators and Instructional Designers on Quality Matters and quality online design and development.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Mosley is three courses away from obtaining a Master of Arts in Education (Community College Concentration) from Central Michigan University and has a 4-Year Bachelor of Arts in Disability Studies from Ryerson University.
Jennifer is also a Certified Program and Course Reviewer for Higher Education and K-12, as well as a Certified Course Review Manager through Quality Matters, a nonprofit global organization leading quality assurance in online and innovative digital teaching and learning environments.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Jennifer is also a Board Member and Vice-Chair for the Womenās Interval Home of Sarnia-Lambton, a nonprofit charitable organization that provides emergency shelter and counselling services to abused women and their children.
Jennifer is also a Board Member of āGolden,ā the Global Online Learning Development and Extended Network, a global panel of experts in instructional design, online pedagogy, diversity/equity/inclusiveness (DEI) concepts, accessibility, and teaching with technology. GOLDENās mission is to provide professional development support on a global basis for those educators who are new to online teaching with technology.
Jennifer is passionate about lifelong learning and leadership and loves spending quality time with her two children, ages 16 and 14, husband of 18 years, and two dogs and a cat. She loves renting cottages, kayaking, and spending time outdoors surrounded by nature.
