Current Position and Past Experience
Dr. Jeff Hall is a Collegiate Professor of Educational Technology at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC). He has an extensive background in education, having served as an Associate Dean of Entry Point and General Education courses at Ashford University, Director of Faculty Training and Development at Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, Lead Faculty for Colorado Technical University's College Success course, Instructional Designer at the University of South Florida and the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and Academic Advisor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of South Florida.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Jeff has a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership, a Master of Education in Instructional Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Office Education, all from the University of South Florida Tampa campus. He is certified in Quality Matters and the Let Me Learn Process, an advanced learning system underpinning Ashford University's college success course from 2013 – 2020.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Outside of work, Jeff is passionate about traveling, history, genealogy, National Parks, pop culture, and cars. His love for travel has taken him to all 50 states, more than 30 countries, and all twelve Disney Parks. He volunteers his time to organizations such as the Online Learning Consortium (OLC) and Reality Changers, an organization promoting the success of first-generation college students.
