Current Position and Past Experience
Jackie Pichette is currently Director of Policy for Research & Partnerships at Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario (HEQCO) where she guides research and policy agendas and works with external partners to explore innovations and improvements in higher education. Prior, Pichette was a project manager at a consultancy called the Castlemain Group, serving Indigenous clients to advance interests including adult education and skills training. Pichette has also worked with Simon Fraser Universityās Public Square, an initiative designed to enable solution-oriented public discourse about policy and community issues.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Pichette holds a Bachelor of Arts with honours in Political Studies from Queenās University. She also has a masterās degree in Public Policy from Simon Fraser University.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Pichette volunteers as a representative at her neighbourhood association, and enjoys getting outdoors, being active, and reading fiction.
