Current Position and Past Experience
George Westerman serves as Principal Research Scientist for Workforce Learning at the MIT Jameel World Education Lab. He is also Senior Lecturer in the MIT Sloan School of Management. A pioneer in the study of digital transformation, he works with top leaders in companies, non-profits, and governments to improve the way they create and deliver products and services. He is currently focusing his efforts on workforce learning – helping companies and workers to ensure that their skills keep pace with today’s fast-moving industries.

Westerman holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Harvard University.
